Is that bad that I've lost count? Eck. Guess it's time to just count months. Maybe we're at 24 weeks? Sorry Kynlee. So I'm procrastinating right now. I should be doing laundry. A lot has been going on around here! Keeping us super busy. School is really busy and I'm adding a 1 credit hour class starting Wednesday that has more work in it than my 3 hour class, so that will be extra tough. To top it off we've started looking at houses. And that's a huge predicament. I hadn't meant to start looking, but Dillon picked up a book at the home show last weekend and I house that I loved the look of had reduced price by 20K making it more in our price range. So we looked at it, like it but we'd have to redesign the kitchen, finish up the basement, and some other things. So then my mom found another house that is waaaay out in the sticks also, but the setting of it is AMAZING. Like if we bought this, we'd probably be there forever. But I hate the house. Hate it. It's doable and livable, but at some point way down the road we'd have to either build a new house, or completely remodel the one that is there. So that adds more stressed. I tend to do this to myself. Sort of like May of '07 when I graduated school, got engaged, started a new job, and bought a house all in 2 weeks time. We could keep waiting but this house tax rebate thing ends in April/June something or another so that would be really nice to have towards this house. So anyways, I need to start packing up stuff in this house that we never use and get this puppy listed I suppose. Great. Dillon has also decided he wants to snow goose hunt which leaves me here doing most of it. Great again.
Okay so now that that's off my shoulders on to Kynlee boo. Lots has been going on in her world. I first off to say, I had to tell her yesterday that she needs to cry more. Seriously. I thought she had fallen asleep on our way home and was still asleep so I left her in her car seat. A few minutes later Dillon was walking by so I asked him to make sure she was still asleep. Nope. Awake just hangin out, not making a sound. Really? How did we get so lucky? Our next child is going to be a hellion. I know it.
I'm trying to remember all the new things she is doing and in order. She begin sitting on her own a lot better. We've began using the chair in the tub as for her baths, she was splashing water every where on the counter in her little tub.
She also says Hi! Did I tell you about that? It is so adorable. She did it a lot for about a week and then she learned she could growl in her throat so she did that a lot too. My mom loves telling the store about the night she stayed at their house and it was like 6 am still dark in the room and her and dad hear this little "hi" and they both sort of looked around and said "hi?" back and then laughed because they realized it was her!
She learned just in the past couple days how to do a motorboat with her mouth, so drool, milk, cereal goes EVERY where. And she does it pretty much all of the time.
She had a cold too. Had to take her to the dr and get some antibiotics. Boy did she love that stuff! It was the bubble gum flavor! Dillon was jealous. That was two weeks ago, it took forever for her to kick it, but that's been the case for everyone that has it.
She started cereal this last week. I really wanted to wait until she was 6 months and go straight to baby food. But she was getting too hungry too fast. We had bumped her to 6 oz and she was eating that like every 1 1/2-2 hours. So we started with a 1 tbls in the am and one in the pm added to her bottle. We started that Monday. Then Saturday morning we switched to spoon feeding it to her. I have video. I'll post it sometime. She thinks that's pretty cool. She'll open her mouth great big and then shoves the spoon down her throat because of course she has to help. It's so much fun. We see her pedi on the 23, so maybe we'll be cleared for regular baby food then! And we go back to the heart drs on the 25.
Dillon was also able to get her to roll over Friday night. From her back to her stomach. So we now roll both ways. She had been trying for a while. He laid her on the floor Friday and just kept working with her (I was super proud of him) and she finally did it! There is a video on FB of it. The video was about the 5th time she had done it though.
Alright well I think that's everything! Laundry is calling my name. As are a million other things!

19 weeks.
So Kynlee is officially 1/2 as old as the amount of time that I carried her. Does that make sense? it does to me...and I cannot believe she is that old. I think I skipped last week again? I don't know. Time literally escapes me and I can't stand it. How do people have more than 1 child at a time? Although I miss pregnancy something fierce and I miss her being teeny tiny, there is no way I could handle another one already, which is hard for me too. I shall enjoy chano's pregnancy.
So in the past couple weeks, her stuffy nose has come and gone, and come and gone. It annoys her and she hates having her nose wiped. She doesn't so much mind the saline drops though, so i just do those and she usually sneezes shortly after and gets most of it out.
She has also found more of her voice and loves to squeal. She has also learned to squeal and through herself backwards, especially when we're doing something she doesn't approve of. I'm already envisioning this happening in the middle of wal-mart when she gets told no. Her father will deal with her then, as she got this behavior from his gene pool not mine ;)
Her hair is slowly falling out :( she has a major bald spot in the back, and then stripes around the sides from where she rolls her head back and forth.
She also refuses to lay down and if you put her in a semi recline position she tries sitting up, you can just see her stomach muscles PULLING. She refuses to remain reclined. Sometimes laying flat is okay, but not for long. She is working very hard to roll over from back to stomach, her butt's just too heavy. We're working on it though.
We went back to Childrens Mercy last week, praying for a good report as Dr. Phelps had thought it sounded better. Well the nurse prac. she sees listened and felt for less than a minute and says "it sounds tighter and i can feel it razzing" so we did the echo. sure enough. it's still moderate, but she has stenosis below the original one now where the valve is pinching shut and at the top of her heart the veins aren't growing how they want them to and at the bottom she has some swelling. So it's still not 'severe' or 'critical' but they like to fix these problems before they cause issues, or cause her to start showing problems. Which she isn't currently doing. The NP said she was going to send it to the 'cath lab' aka the people that do the procedure and let those dr's decide if we go ahead or continue waiting. In Dill and I's brains we're not seeing the purpose of waiting, however, we didn't ask her why we would, so it could be for Kynlee to get older to handle anesthesia better. So we're still waiting for a call from them to hear their decision, and if they say wait I'm going to ask why...if we're not feeling their response then we're going to get a second opinion. one of my cousins had a similar surgery at 2 days old in columbia and the dr that performed it, designed the balloon procedure that she would be having, so obviously it doesn't get much better than that. So I plan to get an appt with him if they say they want to continue waiting. They act like the procedure isn't that big of a deal, heck if they do it first thing in the morning she would go home that night. The hole they go in through is no bigger than an IV site and they put a bandaid over it. So I guess we just don't see why we would keep waiting if it is straining her heart growth. If anyone knows please inform me.;)

17 weeks
So, I'm a week late...sorry! Last Tuesday We had to go to her 4 month dr appt..it went well, she's gaining weight well, her height and weight are in the 50th%ile and her head is in the 75th, Dr Phelp's asked if she had any trouble holding it up. She doesn't usually, sometimes if she's just eaten she spits up if she's trying too hard to hold it up. She weighed 13lbs .5oz and was 24 inches long. Dr Phelp's also said that although she can't confirm it, her heart murmur did sound a little bit weaker so that's GREAT news! Hopefully they can confirm it next week!
She's gotten really great at her jumperoo this week, I took video I'll have to upload it! She can spin all the way around now, well as long as I keep moving the box. She can also grab the toys on the tray around her! She really loves the rainbow!
She has also slept through the night for about a week now, she still fusses for her binky a couple times a night, but I don't have to feed her!
My milk supply has crashed, I get about a bottle and a half worth of milk all day, with the exception of my first morning pump, it's generally enough for a bottle, except this morning she decided she wanted to drink EIGHT ounces in one feeding. Growth spurt much? So basically we're going to have to start sending her formula to the babysitter, because they're running out :( This is extremely upsetting and I really want to keep pumping but is it worth it? And I know in my brain that formula is good for her, but I still feel guilt. Dang pressure of society. It would be nice to not have that thing attached to me 24/7 but i still feel bad.
They've been using old BM at the sitters, and she hasn't had much trouble with spitting up, with the exception of last tuesday. So maybe I can slowly introduce onions and what not back into her diet.
She gets baptized this coming Sunday, Chris and Allison agreed to be her baptismal sponsors and we're very excited! We also learned that this Sunday is called "Life Sunday", it's to celebrate the anniversary of Roe V Wade, so it'll be cool to have a baptism on that Sunday. We'll have a family dinner afterwards!
Tonight she learned that she could bang her toys on her swing and they would make a loud noise, so she kept doing it over and over :) it's cute now, I'm sure soon enough it'll be beyond obnoxious.
Her stuffy nose seems to be doing a little bit better, now that she gave her fun cold to me! bleck!

15 weeks old!
Allison kindly pointed out today that I didn't update yesterday, correct I didn't update last night, I realized about 730 that I hadn't and told Dill I didn't---but we were in bed by 745, and decided i do it tonight!
Not a whole lot has happened this week, Kynlee is really loving her jumperoo, she goes nuts in it! She's beginning to learn that when she jumps it will play music, so that's been fun watching!
She's still sickly and having a runny nose but it was a little better this morning!
We did learn this week that she needs to stay up past 6, Monday she was so tired that we put her to bed about 545...she was then wide awake at 3 am. gah. It was not fun. So she now stays up later!
NYE was alright, Chris and Amber came up, they were passed out on the couch by 1045, Dill and I went to bed at 1115!
We also asked Allison and Chris to be Kynlee's God parents 'baptismal sponsors' that day, her baptism is set for Jan 24, so i'm very excited about that! We go back to Childrens Mercy the 29--i'm honestly a little nervous about it..i just don't have a good feeling. blah.
so i think that's all for tonight! sorry!
