skipping ahead.

Okay SO i know i still owe you info about week 29..it was pretty uneventful. I want to catch everyone up with yesterdays dr's appt.

I was pretty nervous going in because my swelling from the weekend had gone down..none..and my BP had been a little higher. So she lovingly decides to up my BP meds. ugh. and then she says...well..in early pg it's common for swelling to come and go like yours had been..but now your to the point that it comes and..doesn't go. yay. my GD test came back all clear though! yay! my hemoglobin was low..which doesn't surprise me.i've always had issues there..they won't let me donate blood because of it. so i have to take iron pills. so that puts me up to 7 pills a day until i get the higher dosage BP pills then ill be down to 5. now i feel bad for my clients. yuck. no protein in my urine which is great means the pre e is staying at bay!

so we get to measuring my uterus. fundel height or something like that. it's "a few centimeters bigger than it should be"...for those of you who may not know, they measure the uterus top to bottom from the outside, in centimeters it should match how far along you are in your pregnancy..yesterday i was 30 weeks along therefore it should have measured 30cm and I'm assuming it was between 32-33 centimeters. so she finally decides yes in fact this baby is large..like i've been telling her for weeks. so we get to go for a growth ultrasound next week! yay! i have to have a full bladder, which they told me means drinking 32 ounces of water 1 hour prior to the test. um hello i'm pregnant and can't hold half a bottle of water for more than 30 mins so chances of getting 2 full bottles to stay in for an hour and me living to tell about it=slim. God's gonna have to get me through this one. eck.

The good news is, that generally having high BP keeps the baby small because the swelling decreases nutrients getting to the baby...well apparently that isn't going to be an issue for our sumo wrestler :) (no that doesn't mean it's a boy..i honestly don't know what it is)....and having a large baby means it will be well developed whenever it decides to come. So we go for an U/S next tuesday...so excited! and then the next week we'll start with the NST's! and time is gonna fly!

We got our first baby shower gift in the mail today from Megan and Lynn it's our bouncer! so cute! nearly impossible to put together haha! i can't wait until saturday!!

we got the crib and such put up too..but i'm too lazy to put pictures up right now!
